Recovered Revenue = slots_filled × avg_reimbursement × confidence_factor Where: slots_filled = confirmed YES replies per pilot (from pilot_kpi_snapshots) avg_reimbursement = practice-specific weighted average facility fee (submitted at pilot start; defaults to $3,200 if unknown) confidence_factor = 0.82 (accounts for last-minute reschedules and no-shows that occur post-confirmation at industry average rate)

The 0.82 confidence factor is conservative. MGMA 2023 ASC Operations data shows same-day no-show rates for waitlisted patients average 12–15% across specialties. We use 18% to build in margin — so the number you see is the floor, not the ceiling.
